| Looks like the majority of people have had a similar experience (aside from a couple lucky folks). GREAT idea! But... First one had such low volume that I couldn't use it. I exchanged it but had an impossible time installing the battery in that one. The 3rd one worked well... for awhile. Then it started dying after just a couple minutes. The company sent me a new battery and it worked like a charm... for awhile. By the time it was a few months old, with a new battery, the static creeped in (just like most other reviewers mentioned). Initially, if I turned the headset slightly it went away. Soon I found the only thing that would help was holding the earpiece hard against my head (uncomfortable and kinda defeats the purpose). Now, nothing I do helps and I'm reduced to using the speakerphone only. When it worked, it was fantastic. WHEN it worked. Judging from the reviews, looks like you have about a 1 out of 10 chance of ending up with a decent phone. That may just mean those with a good experience haven't had the phone long enough for problems to start. |
