| I've been using trackballs since my first PC (1993), and I can't believe there aren't more models out there. Not to worry, though, as long as logitech keeps making this beauty. It's about as ergonomically perfect as you can get, and works flawlessly. Logitech, please PLEASE keep making these, as nothing else even comes close. |

My Index Finger is Happy! |
| I have two laptops and use them alot. My index finger was getting achy and strained from overusing the track pads. The track man is giving my index finger a rest and the opportunity to heal itself. What a relief! |

You will never go back |
Once you get used to the different motion, you will never go back to ANY other type of mouse. Ten years ago I has a tiny thumb mouse on a little Compaq. It was the best mouse I ever used. The only problem was it had to be cleaned frequently. The optical mechanism in this mouse eliminates the only drawback. It is so nice not to have to move your hand or fingers all over the place--only your thumb moves.
My only suggested improvement would be to make the ball about 1/3 smaller. |
